Oak Haven Vineyard now has Glamping!

Glamour Camping is available from April 1 to October 31

each year, weather permitting.

What is Glamping you ask?  Glamping is short for

"Glamour Camping". It is simply camping at its finest. You 

sleep in a tent on a raised deck with a full size bed with

sheets and blankets and pillows. 


Who is it for?


For travellers that just want a cool place to stay without spending a bunch of money Glamping is for you. If you just want to get out of the city, Glamping is for you. If you like camping but are tired of trying to find a camp site and packing up and tearing down is getting old, then Glamping is for you. If you are tired of wanting to get away from it all only to have 20 people camped around you, then Oak Haven Glamping is for you. No need to pack up your bedding and camping gear. Come spend a night or two (or more) at Oak Haven, where you will enjoy a quiet respite from the noise of the city and enjoy the quiet of the country. Our noise consists of bull frogs croaking, birds singing and the occasional train whistle in the distance. There are two tents 30 feet apart which means you won’t have a large crowd that you must deal with. It will be you alone in the woods enjoying nature. Sit around the camp fire and enjoy the evening.  We also offer a privacy option. If you would like to have the area to yourself, just ask us.

Each 12'X14' Tent are on decks with porches overlooking the vineyard and garden. The tents are furnished with antiques, Full size or queen size beds, dressers with mirrors, coffee service, tables and chairs, rugs and soft bedding. Fully electric, lamps and fans/heaters complete the experience.


There is a complete privy with composting toilet and a separate hot water shower.

Add-ons that may be included for an additional price: We can provide foil dinners for the campfire, smores, either a continental breakfast or a complete hot breakfast served to your tent.

Each bungalow sleeps two persons in a double or queen size bed. No extra persons may sleep without prior approval. No smoking inside tents.


Privacy Option: Should you wish to camp by yourself, you can book the site and we will not book the other tent. You will have the entire area to yourself. In order to get this option, you must be the first to book on any particular day. The cost is half the cost of the other tent you do not book.

Example: Book Lazy Oaks during the weekend - $75 plus half the cost of Cozy Oaks weekend $35.00. Your total cost would be $110. If you booked Cozy Oaks and blocked Lazy Oaks your cost would be $107.50

Check In and Check Out:


Check in time is 3:00 on weekends and 4:00 on weekdays and no later than sunset. Check out is 11:00 am.

What is provided?


Included in your stay are the following amenities:
Cozy 12'x14' tent on a deck with a full or queen size bed, dresser with mirror, lamps, rug, extra bedding, small table/chairs, porch chairs, fans, heater, electric blanket (in season), coffee service, drinking water, towels, toilet and shower facilities.
Campfire or firepit to share, includes wood, Firestarter and lighter.

Add-Ons:

As a service to our guests, you may purchase the following:

Breakfast: Continental breakfast ($5 ea.) consists of Yogurt, Homemade Granola and fresh berries from our garden along with either a muffin or scone.

Full hot Breakfast ($10.00 ea.) which consists of your choice of either a 3 egg omelet with either sausage or bacon and English muffin or


a potato casserole that consists of fried potatoes, green peppers and onion, sausage and cheese.


or 2 Waffles with your choice of sausage or bacon

All breakfasts come with your choice of Juice, Tomato (homemade), orange, pineapple, cranberry 

Foil Dinners, ($10.00 each) - foil pouch includes chicken breast or beef (meat loaf), potatoes, onions and carrots seasoned. (Must be ordered ahead. You grill yourself!  Everything provided)


Meals are served to your tent. Breakfasts are served between 8:00am and 9:00am unless another time is coordinated in advance. Dinners are served when you have your fire up and burning.

S'mores ($5 for two) includes Graham Crackers, Chocolate and marshmallows and cooking utensils.


All payment for food is either in cash or credit card.


What You May Want to Bring:

Camera, cooler with ice, food, soft drinks/bottled water, games, clothing, overnight necessities, bug spray.  

What you May NOT Bring:

Firearms, fireworks, illicit drugs or any illegal substance.

*Alcohol Policy:

At this time, we do NOT sell wine. Oak Haven Vineyard does not hold a class C liquor license from the State of Nebraska.  Therefore, we do not restrict the consumption of alcohol. However, this property does not allow or tolerate drunkenness or inappropriate behavior.  If you cannot consume alcohol in an appropriate manner, you may be requested to leave the property.  If it is discovered that this has occurred, all alcohol will be confiscated and your party will not be allowed back.

Nearest Town:

Plattsmouth is located approximately 2.5 miles to the east. There you will find groceries, ice, batteries, gas stations, coffee house, post office, lots of churches, etc.  Ask Herb or Joyce for any details.

What to Do in an Emergency:


If you find you need something from the Oak Haven staff, please call (402) 296-3364 prior to 10 pm if possible. In a weather emergency, call the Oak Haven number to be let into the main house for shelter.  If the weather radio predicts extreme weather, we will call your phone number on file to alert you.
